1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using STRYK ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

STRYK is a peer-to-peer task marketplace where users can post tasks ("Stryks") with prices and other users can accept, bid on, or negotiate to complete them. The Platform facilitates connection between posters and strikers but is not a party to any task agreement.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use STRYK. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. Posting & Completing Stryks

• Posters must provide accurate descriptions of the task required.
• The full Stryk price is held in escrow upon posting.
• Strikers must complete tasks as described and submit proof of completion.
• Upon poster approval, 90% of the price is paid to the striker. STRYK retains a 10% platform fee.
• If a Stryk is cancelled before completion, the escrow is refunded in full to the poster.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not post Stryks that involve:

• Violence, threats, or harassment against any person
• Hate speech or discrimination
• Illegal activities, including drug sales or theft
• Tasks that endanger the health or safety of any person
• Sexual exploitation or content involving minors
• Fraud, scams, or phishing
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent

STRYK uses automated moderation and community reporting to enforce these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.

6. Payments & Fees

STRYK charges a 10% platform fee on completed tasks, deducted from the payout to the striker. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. STRYK is not responsible for payment processing errors by the provider.

7. Disputes

If a poster and striker disagree on task completion, either party may submit a dispute. STRYK will review submitted proof and make a final determination. STRYK's decision is binding.

8. Limitation of Liability

STRYK is a marketplace platform, not an employer or contractor. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of tasks posted. Users interact at their own risk. STRYK's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

STRYK may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Outstanding escrow will be refunded upon account closure.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
