Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines what is and is not allowed on the STRYK platform. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, escrow forfeiture, or permanent bans at STRYK's sole discretion.

1. Prohibited Stryks

You may not post or complete Stryks that involve:

Violence & Harm

• Tasks designed to physically harm, injure, or endanger any person
• Threats, intimidation, or incitement of violence
• Self-harm, suicide-related tasks, or tasks with unreasonable risk of death
• Tasks involving weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances

Illegal Activity

• Drug sales, trafficking, or manufacture
• Theft, burglary, trespassing, or vandalism
• Fraud, phishing, scams, or identity theft
• Tasks requiring professional licenses the user does not hold (medical, legal, electrical, etc.)
• Money laundering or use of the platform to move illicit funds
• Any task that violates local, state, or federal law

Harassment & Abuse

• Tasks that target, harass, bully, or stalk specific individuals
• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic
• Doxxing or sharing private/personal information without consent
• Non-consensual photography, recording, or surveillance

Sexual & Exploitative Content

• Sexual content, pornography, or sexually explicit tasks
• Any content involving minors in any inappropriate context
• Human trafficking or sexual exploitation
• Non-consensual intimate imagery

Deception & Fraud

• Misleading task descriptions designed to bait-and-switch strikers
• Fake proof submissions or fraudulent completion claims
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate bidding, reviews, or disputes
• Impersonating other users, public figures, or STRYK staff
• Artificially inflating reputation scores through colluding accounts

2. Platform Abuse

You may not:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, moderation systems, or age verification
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to security@strykme.com instead)
• Scrape user data, content, or any platform information
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or load testing without permission
• Use the platform to spam, phish, or distribute malware

3. Content Standards

All user-generated content (task descriptions, comments, proof submissions, profile information) must:

• Be accurate and not intentionally misleading
• Not infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Not contain malware, viruses, or malicious links
• Be appropriate for a general audience (no graphic violence, explicit content)
• Not include personal/private information of third parties

5. Enforcement

STRYK enforces this policy through a combination of automated moderation, AI content analysis, and community reporting. Actions we may take include:

• Warning — First-time or minor violations
• Content removal — Violating Stryks are removed and escrowed funds refunded
• Temporary suspension — Account frozen for 7-30 days
• Escrow forfeiture — For fraud or severe violations, escrowed funds may be withheld
• Permanent ban — For repeated or severe violations

Decisions are final but may be appealed by emailing appeals@strykme.com within 14 days.

6. Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it using the report button on any Stryk, or email safety@strykme.com. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
